ELIGIBILITY: The Win the Everyday with Rachael Ray Ultimate Lunch Party for your Class contest (the "Contest") is open to legal residents of the Fifty United States and the District of Columbia, and Canada who are the parent or legal guardian of a child between the ages of six (6) years old and fourteen (14) years old at the time of entry and attend school. Professional chefs and cooks are not eligible. Employees of Reader's Digest Association, Inc. ("Sponsor"), it's affiliated and subsidiary companies and participating advertising and promotion agencies (and members of their immediate family and/or those living in the same household of each) are not eligible to participate. The Everyday with Rachael Ray Ultimate Lunch Party for Your Child's Class Contest will be available to the Province of Quebec on July 18, 2008. In Quebec, Canada, the required duties have been paid. Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Regie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling.

TO ENTER: Log onto one of the following web sites: www.californiainnovations.com, www.arcticzone.com or www.everydaywithrachaelraypromo.com/lunchbox (the "Sites") and complete and submit the official Contest entry form in accordance with the on-screen instructions. All submissions must be received between June 2, 2008 12:00am (ET) and December 31, 2008 at 11:59pm (ET). Except in Quebec, where entries must be received between July 18, 2008, 12:00 p.m.(ET) and December 31, 2008 at 11:59pm (ET). In lieu of an online submission, entrants may print and complete the official Contest entry form from one of the Sites in accordance with the form's instructions. Printed forms may be typed or completed in ink or ballpoint pen and should be mailed via first class mail to: Lunch Party for your Class Contest, c/o Every Day with Rachael Ray, 16 East 34th Street, 14th floor, New York, NY 10016, Attn: Leah Holzel. All mail-in entries must be postmarked between June 2, 2008 and December 31, 2008. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, postage due mail or entries not received for any reason. Entries become sole property of Sponsor and none will be returned. Limit one entry per person and per email address irrespective of the method of entry.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Submit an original "lunch box" recipe. A "lunch box" recipe includes a recipe for a school child's lunch. Each recipe must be original, created by the entrant, and must not have previously been published nor won a prize or award. Recipes must have no more than ten (10) ingredients, including any garnishes, salt and pepper. All ingredients must be listed together with exact measurements on the entry form. Complete preparation instructions must be provided on the entry form, including specific types and sizes of any required cooking equipment, cooking times and tests to determine whether food is ready. Recipe must be for an easy-to-make lunch that can be completely prepared and served in no more than one hour.

JUDGING: All entries will be judged by members of the Every Day with Rachael Ray editorial staff based upon the following criteria: Taste (50%); Ease of Preparation (20%); Appearance (15%); and Originality and Creativity (15%). In the event of a tie, the person among the tied entries with the highest score in Taste is the winner. If ties still remain, the person with the highest score in Ease of Preparation will be deemed the winner. If ties still remain, person with the highest score in Appearance will be deemed the winner. Decisions of the judges are final. One winning recipe will be selected on or about January 15, 2009 and the winning entrant will be notified via first class mail within approximately two weeks of winner selection.

PRIZE AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE: One Grand Prize: Winner's Child's school will receive a lunch for Child and his/her entire class (no more than 200 students and faculty). The winner's recipe will also be printed in a future issue of Every Day with Rachael Ray. Total approximate retail value: $5,000. The prize is not transferable, cannot be assigned, substituted or redeemed for cash. Lunch must be scheduled no later than June 17, 2009. Sponsor will consider winner's request for date of lunch, but date of lunch is ultimately Sponsor's decision. Actual lunch menu subject to Sponsor's sole discretion. If the winner's child's (grade) class has fewer than 200 people, the difference between the actual value of the Grand Prize and the stated approximate retail value will be forfeited and will not be awarded. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that the stated prize is no longer available. All other expenses not specified herein are the responsibility of the winner. ALL TAXES, IF ANY, ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER'S CHILD'S SCHOOL (the "Winning School").

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: Winner may forfeit prize if Sponsor is unable to contact winning entrant within 7 days of first attempted notification or if the Winning School is unwilling to accept the prize. In such event, the prize may be awarded to the school of an alternate winner. The prize is awarded without warranty of any kind from Sponsor, express or implied, without limitation. All federal, state, local and provincial laws and regulations apply. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Contest. Winning School may be required to sign and return a Liability and Publicity Release within 7 days following the date of first attempted notification. Winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, a publicity release (where legally permissible) and any documents necessary to transfer any and all rights, title and interest in the winning recipe to Sponsor within 7 days following the date of first attempted notification. Failure to comply with these deadlines may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner. Unless prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its agencies to use name and likeness of Winner, Child and Winning School and the winning recipe for advertising and promotional purposes including, without limitation, all print and electronic media, without additional compensation. By accepting prize, Winner and Winning School agrees to hold Sponsor, its respective directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the Contest and/or acceptance or use of the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Contest or in the announcement of the prize.

INTERNET: Sponsor is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to select winners from eligible entries received as of the termination date. Sponsors furthers reserve the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. Caution: Any attempt by a contestant to deliberately damage any Web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such contestant to the fullest extent of the law.

GOVERNING LAW: Except where prohibited by law, all issues concerning the construction, validity and enforcement of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor, shall be construed and governed by the laws of the state of New York, without regard to conflicts of law. All suits or claims brought in connection with this Contest must be brought in a state or federal court in New York, without resort to class action.

Severability: If any provision(s) of these Official Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.
